Jessica's deep expertise building talent functions and leadership teams across VC firms and high-growth companies means she knows what world-class looks like at scale and how to recruit for roles that don't exist anywhere else.
She spent nearly 5 years at Andreessen Horowitz building teams across the business during the firm's explosive growth from $20B to $90B AUM. She recruited for everything from Investor Relations and TechWeek to Go-to-Market, Marketing, Executive Talent, Finance, HR, Legal and more.
Before a16z, Jessica built people and talent functions from scratch at hypergrowth tech companies including Productboard, D2iQ, GoodData and Grammarly, and has international experience across 18 countries.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors with her son and dogs, and exploring new places through travel.

Sarah Mascardo

She spent nearly 5 years at Andreessen Horowitz, where she led Internal Talent and drove their talent strategy to support hypergrowth. She also hired exceptional leaders across every function at the firm, including Marketing, Go-to-Market, Bio & Health Fund, Venture, and Central leadership roles.
Before a16z, Sarah built talent functions from the ground up at hypergrowth tech companies including Recurly, Kontagent, and Opower.
Based in Park City, Utah, Sarah enjoys skiing the slopes, traveling, and hiking Utah's incredible trails.
